Another tire question
2009 328xi
I have have 4 same tires, contipro non-run flats. (2) 8/32 (1) 9/32 (1) 7/32 Can I use this combo safely?? And in which order/combo? Was thinking the two 8/32 up front and the 7/32 - 9/32 in back. |

Put both 8/32 tires together (front or back) Put one 8/32 with the 7/32 and one 8/32 with the 9/32. Or am I literally splitting hairs and over thinking this? |

Probably overthinking it. You're well within the transfer case tolerance. Plus even if you had gotten new tires, they could have worn unevenly to the same tread depths you have now.

So... at the risk of continuing to over think it... and know it doesn't matter.
What would be the best case scenario: Both 8/32 up front and the 7/32-9/32 in back Both 8/32 in back and the 7/32-9/32 in front a 7/32 and 8/32 up front and 8/32 and 9/32 in back to "balance it a bit more" and I'll bow out after this... than you for indulging my insanity. |

Probably won't matter, but there's some logic to that arrangement! |
