Aero Lip Question
I have a question to u guys who have Aero lip installed on their cars.
Did u prefer getting it installed from your dealership, or aftermarket? Also what would be the price difference between these two? Any input would be appreciated, Thanks in advance |

It's such simple installation that you can do it yourself.
Only parts you need is 3M outdoor double side tape. Just get a pre-painted version from tischer or somewhere. DIY is available in DIY section in the forum.

If there is anything you could possibly DIY, it's this...

oh yes that shouldnt be too difficult to DIY, but what i wanted to know was if u buy it from the BMW dealership, or elsewhere? The reason why im asking is, im not completely satisfied with my dealer, as they dont seem trustworthy to me. I dont want them to rip me off, so i want to know the prices between the dealership OEM lip and the aftermarket one?

the reps are always going to be cheaper than oem..go to the sponsor section of the forums and search for the aero lip.. there are different sponsors selling them..

DIY on the install is easy for aero lip, if you don't feel comfortable just kindly ask some members from the GTO area for some help.

i know this is a total noob question, but could someone please tell me what tool i need to remove the existing bolts on the front bumper (which I know have to go back on again after placing the lip on)? just a regular screwdriver, or something different? i'm away with work for a couple of days so can't just go out and check the car... thanks in advance.
