Coolant Leak

I have a coolant leak (small amount) off the right rear of the engine at the transmission joint. The coolant is up high on the engine, but I can't see where it's coming from underneath the car.

Any idea where it might be coming from?

Look around where the coolant lines go into the firewall/heater core. That's the only lines I could think of there.

By right you mean driver or passenger side???

Got the same issue, I replaced the water pump on my X5d a few months ago and it appears I did something wrong because it is now leaking according to BMW.. so either I put the gasket the wrong way or the new water pump I got was defective and it is leaking from the seals.
