So...Natasha no longer works at Bmw Vista.

Any suggestions on a new service advisor here? (Or a new dealership? )

BMW Encinitas told me that mod owners are welcomed there.

So I just failed SMOG. My main question to any of you is that I recently, 2 days ago, reset my CES. Does the OBD2 machine register this and cause the test to fail?

I'm running JB4 and forgot to chanel to map 0 to disable it. Do you think JB4 caused the OBD2 to fail? The tech said that if I drive the car around for a couple more days and if the light doesn't come back then the computer should read fine.

You need to drive the car around for like 100 miles to get monitors ready. Good luck

On top of failing a smog, I had an alignment done just before. I've noticed that I can let go of the steering wheel and the car will drive straight but the steering wheel is cock-eyed to the left about 5-10 "minutes". When you look at a clock, my steering wheel is set to around 11:50 instead of straight up 12.

The reason for that info is because this morning I got a DSC Malfunction and a quick search indicated steering wheel sensor, etc. I'm not sure exactly what is done during an alignment, but would the steering wheel been modified?

I'll be taking it back to the alignment shop today when I get a chance for them to look over what they did.

She's at Mercedes of El Cajon. It is where BMW El Cajon used to be. Closer to her house. She's been there about 6 months. Bryce (old service mgr from Vista) is there too.

May or may not be related. The Steering Angle Sensor is a MAJOR issue in the E90's. Mine went bad and Nick Owen said that he used to do them like clockwork.

Well the shop fixed my off center steering wheel but they say the DSC malfunction is related to the rear brakes needing to be replaced.

I do need the rear brakes changed. I guess if this doesnt fix it then I'll look further in.

Does anyone know if having the brake indicator light on will fail a smog check?

Rear brakes causing DSC? Hmm I don't know about that one.
