Review: E92 Carbon Fiber Low Kick rear trunk spoiler (bmwchop168)
After hitting the button for a very long time and looking at so many sites that offer genuine carbon fiber rear spoilers to possible crappy knock-offs, I went ahead and just took the plunge.
There are a huge variance in prices from $45 to well over $700. I just don't see myself ever paying full price for something that looks just as good as top grade carbon fiber. I'm not looking for weight and pure performance - just the looks upgrade. I see that many have done the "emotors2000" route. Well, I wanted to try something different and wouldn't break the bank if it failed. The one thing that really turned me on to this purchase from bmwchop168 is the picture of what the difference in a "high-kick" and "low-kick". I didn't want an exaggerated wing that looked ricey nor did I want a thin strip of plastic that I could have gone to Pep-Boys and gotten a door guard and attached for $9.99 in chrome. This wing is less than $150 and no shipping costs. Though it comes from Taiwan, shipment was fast! Here's the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321733366551...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I ordered on a Friday Dec. 04, 2015and shipped on a Monday Dec. 07, 2015. The ebay page does say that if orders are placed on a Friday or holiday, the shipment would go out the next business day. I got the part on Thursday Dec. 10, 2015. I opened that box - the spoiler looks awesome! Installation was simple. I've never done it before. I just cleaned the area with alcohol and on the wing. I did 2 stripes of 3M tape (which was included) and set painters tape on the trunk and guide marks -- yadda yadda and it's done. Went for a drive on the freeway and it didn't fall off below 90 mph. These are so cheap on eBay, I just might buy a high kick just for the hell of it and see if my feelings might change. I'm really going for slight subtle aggressiveness and siding more on the modest side. Not a boy-racer look.

I have the high kick, people compliment on it a lot. also I think it would give a little more downforce at high speeds. although minimal... low kick looks nice too I agree that it totally gives the car a new look breaking up the solid color of the rear of the car

I'd have to do some searching myself to find another one just like mine for the low price.

High kick is better
get carbon splitter(s) and carbon performance diffuser. that will make it complete, now it's kinda poor only a carbon spoiler |

They usually do this when out of stock and drop the price again when they have it back in stock.
