I decided to just wait at the dealer the one time I got an oil change, but every other time I've been given a BMW loaner.

I agree but just got back from Knauz and met Gus, really nice guy. Ordered the new USB connector part for me. A little bit of a hike for me but not even as bad as Laurel would have been.

toying with the idea of "downgrading" to an S2k or something similar (10-15kish) and putting the differential as a down payment on a house...my parents are helping me with that but it's basically a matching scenario...

They were pretty straightforward and fair about my suspension...basically told me they won't work on aftermarket parts...everything else is intact

I remember once I was talking to an independent guy that came recommended to me....retired master tech. I asked him if he could and how much to install my lsd. He said why would you do that? I said thank you for your time.

Not a bad idea at all. I am currently under contract for a condo in Buena Park. I got a decent deal on a foreclosure condo in Buena Park. $160K gets me: 1400 sq ft, 2bed, 2 baths, enormous kitchen + living room, hardwood, granite, ss, garage and 2 decks. One at the front and one huge one at the back of the condo.

Closing on 28th. Everything is in good order, but I am still keeping fingers crossed till I get the keys..

Right...I am in no hurry, but when the right thing comes along feel I may not be able to jump on it right away...I could walk away into something else fun to drive with ~10k in my pocket, sit on it, and see where the market goes, and should the time be right be ready to pull the trigger

Well, if you want to be ready for when an opportunity presents itself, I think you should put up FS thread for your 335i asap.. It might take some time to get good money for it...

I'm just speculating right now...I would work something with a dealer-trade or more likely buy it out and put it up then...all started when I was just curious of my buyout and it was more attractive than I thought it would be...
