subscribed, selling my CCC have a CIC bezel i can use to retrofit.

Dont think this thread will have any updates, we installed these ages ago, the biggest pain was wiring in the microphone, bluetooth and reverse camera connections, none of which had proper instructions.

If you dont mind spending the time on it and figuring it out then its possible.

You cant code the NBT unit via NCSExpert. Its an F series unit so you'll need to use ESYS software. Because this isn't a real F series car you'll need to generate an F series vehicle order from scratch that's similar to the options on your car and use that to code the NBT unit.

You'd also need a way to plug into the NBT's network, either with a USB->ethernet adapter plugged into the NBT unit or wiring the ethernet connections on the back.

If you did it all yourself, and bought all the parts individually you could get NBT installed pretty cheap (emulator would be the most expensive part). But IMO a CIC is a hell of a lot easier to fit (Only takes a couple hours) and NBT doesn't really offer any killer features over CIC + Combox. NBT just does everything a little bit faster and smoother.

i ended up spending 2.8k and going with bimmerretrofit,,could have done myself cheaper alternatively... but id pay for an easy hassle free install hence my decision.. comes a time when i sort of get over stuffing around with the car to save a few dollars.. times worth more lol.

custom / retro / fit didnt reply to me, although seen my messages multiple times.

Just received my CCC to android retrofit unit cost $560 delivered from Honka's it simply replaces the original screen. Claims HD Touch screen. Full NBT UI . 2G Rom, 32G ram, 2 x usb in. 2 x Vid out, Micro Disc slot, Front and back Camera. Original. CCC system still fully operational Vids of it operating seem to show great imagery and Quick response. I'm doing some other Audio mods Simultaneously So it will be a few weeks before I do the install But Ill be happy to report on performance

this is a replacement Screen unit that operates as an integrated Android unit with 2 x USB inputs Reverse camera. It has a far superior touch screen HD image. It access al the usual android features. It also reverts back to original CCC System. I installed it in my car However I found that the original ccc Image was poor (Faulty interface cable which I'm awaiting a replacement) Image and operation was great so Ill probable. Im happy to advise anyone on fitting these systems as they are a very cheap way of upgrading to a later interface with no latency as we get with CCC system
