seat airbags, seat occupancy sensor disable ?

is that possible with this tool? i have installed porsche 997 seats in my car and i don't think i need to try to enable the airbags of the car which very differs in it's dimensions and such. and the weight sense in porsche is too complex to try to adapt it to my car. anyone know if those things can be disabled with coding?

hey, i finally got time to manage the coding thing,
the options to disable the seat airbags are called : sidebag_links sidebag_rechts (set to nicht_aktiv)
the option to disable the seat occupancy sensor both contain "oc3" (set to nicht_aktiv)
both in ABG module of course. hope it helps someone. i now have fully functioning 911 seats in my 335i instead of ugly and unsporty leatherette stockers

i would be really glad to.

Phil, yes.
if you disable the occupancy sensor, it doesn't chime, it doesn't show the buckle light for the passenger( sure, it doesn't know if he's there), but the chime for a driver is other parameter.

Would the pass airbag still deploy if the occupancy sensor is disabled?

Thanks for the confirmation. I was getting the infamous errors. Unplugging the mat and deactivating oc3 has solved it.

1. The mat plug is a small four pin located under the seat at the rear. Unplug it.
2. Disable OC3 in the airbag module with NCS.
3. Clear error codes with Inpa.
4. Profit

You don't need to unplug the battery, but you do need to do a lot more reading if you don't even know what the essential programs required for this task are.

My 2006 325xi wagon had the same problem at 42K mi. Brought Tenafly BMW (NJ), they wanted $200 just to run the diagnosis. Plus extra to fix if there is a problem.. I asked if there is a recall. She said NO.. Then I brought my car to my mechanical in Palisades Park, NJ. The owner ran a test, reset and the lights are off. DONE! He said it could be the short wire or the sensor. But at least the lights are off. I tipped him $10...
(BTW, the owner at Alltech has been treating my bimmer like his car. Highly recommended)

If you are going to disable the sensor in the module, is there really a need to unplug it under the seat? And does this without a doubt still allow the passenger airbags to deploy in an accident? I've got the seat mat sensor problem, but it is intermittent. The only thing I've been able to find so far is a module macht schnell makes that disables the warning light when racing seats are used, but it also disables the airbags on the passenger side. I don't want to disable my airbags at all. I just want to get rid of the check for the sensor on the passenger side.. essentially keeping that airbag enabled at all times.

I very much doubt air bag deployment.
At no price, I want to risk passenger in my car.
I had this issue after having my car valeted. Silly guy, washed car seat.
Bought new sensor mat and replaced myself.

The mod on the coding forum basically said he disabled his, was in an accident and it deployed regardless.
