Jb4 install and engine malfunction. Help!!!
Hey guys, so I got a used jb4 with flex fuel wires and harness a. Got everything plugged in and started the car, but it had a long crank and "engine malfunction reduced power " cel appear. I removed flex fuel wires, same issue, then uninstalled and it starts right up no warnings. None of the wires can be clipped backwards, everything was triple checked as to being plugged in. Any ideas???

I know you said you triple checked, but its easy to mixup the intake sensor and throttle body sensor wires, if I recall they have the same connectors.
Hook up a laptop and update the firmware, make sire adjustment settings are what they're supposed to be. Also if you just read codes and post them it'll pretty much narrow it down. |

It's disconnected for now. Tried reading codes but the usb wouldn't connect to my computer. New bms cable is ordered and should be here before Friday. Will update when I can read codes.
