2 weeks and a blown turbo.. hmm.
I also wonder what the truth is behind his claims that he has "hundreds" of pictures of blown turbos on customer cars... where are they?
That's all besides the point.. I'm still not ready to give my final opinion on them.. I'm under 10,000 KM (currently around 8000)
I just drove from Bucharest to London a couple of weeks ago & drove around the nordschleife with no issues other than a cooked coilpack.

The autobahn was fun with reduced traffic thanks to current events... I cruised across Germany at about 100 MPH. I did learn why Germany makes such awesome powerwagons though.. I got passed like I was backing up over and over by some station wagon LOL.. they must have been cruising at 200KMH... dozens of them.
Awesome pic...so jealous...

This comment is so useless...

20 miles is what a drive back home from the shop that installed them.

Please do yourself a favor and do more research. There is a very good reason you see lots of MMPs being sold “5k miles just refreshed for resale”. Out of the 3 locals that had them all 3 had issues.

Done my research and I might even end up with Pure Stage 2 Hi-Flows, but this wont be until later this year. Focused on the suspension right now.

Smart move , get the suspension and buy some "god level" tyres . Suspension & Tyres make the car.

If your fueling support is up to scratch , stg3 and PI. You are good to go.
Pures are great, lots of engine , drivetrain wrecking power 😁👍

Very nice update cgbimmer! If you go PR coils I would recommend the relocation ones that move the coils to driver side over the intake.
I have also added active cooling to my EKP and change my primary pump to Walbro 535 and secondary to the 450 as port injection is going in next week.

Thanks Nice clean job man! .. I was planning on getting pr coils for drivers side to keep away from heat and looks better..Your car will be a beast with port injection .Is there any safety running that fueling setup? I was waiting for more data on helix for hpfp for long tern durability originally was going to buy and saw problems coming up figured I would wait till they is solid data.

I still don't have the port injection in as I have been working on a few other things but I don't know if the PI controller has any safety built in but I will update when I can.

AS far as what boost am I running that requires PR coils, I will be targeting between 24 and 30 depending on a few variations.

I don't see much of a need to go PR coils. I made close to 700whp on Delphi coils with zero misfires. I believe Motiv said they have many 700+ setups on Delphi coils.

Just received a new Base tune from my tunner and the car is a freight train right now.
I am running an E45 map and have not activated the port injection yet but wow, turbos pull super hard.

I've been using B Q Tuning (Dimitri) for a little over a year now. He did send me a base map for my mods last September but my FlexFuel stopped working back then and it was interfering with the map so the car ran mediocre at best. Now that the fueling is set, it's made a huge difference. A few more revisions and I should be running Mid to low 11's in the 1/4 mile.
