BFD Coding FRM3

Has anyone figured out how to get BFD 1 and 2 to work on US spec cars? I would like to have the 3rd brake light flash on hard braking and all the brake lights flash with ABS and hard braking.

It seems that everyone has been deactivating BFD 1 to get it to work, but that only is when abs is activated.

I haven't been able to get BFD to work on FRM3 cars, only FRM2 and FRM1
