Most people notice better throttle response and better highway performance. Check out some review threads in the NA engine section. You will feel more performance gain if you pair it with other upgrades such as software or performance exhaust.

As far as noise, it's only a slight difference compare to stock due to the addition of a airflow duct at the bottom of the windshield. If you want loud, go with an open airbox design.

How long did you have the intake installed? Is the cf intake air scoop OEM or an aftermarket product? Haven't seen that before.

About 2 years, I just cleaned the air box and K&N filter for the next lucky owner.

The CF intake air scoop is aftermarket but completes the CF look. It does extend down to the grill and will scoop in more air than the stock one.
I don't know who manufractured this one but Technocraft sells a similar one here.
