you can 1. buy a ac adapter for you 12v charger or 2. hard wire the power source from your 12v charger. the ps2 plugs into the module like you do into a TV.

no problem. it easy to do. just the adapter have a power and ground wire. all you need to do is tap it into the power source. here is a picture of the unit. if you want to hardwire it, they also have the unit without the cigarette charger.

I guess what my question is where do you hardire the power source to? Not the battery right, since the battery is a crank source and does not supply power while driving.......so to the ignition then?

first, fine a nice place to put the convertor. then run your wires behind the center trim is where the 2 wire for the cigarette charger is at. tap into those 2 wires and BAM!!! you got juice.

Totally forgot to post after the installation. We ended up puting a PS2 in the car and used it on our road trip to Ohio. I worked perfectly. The place it's at right now is only temporary as I am thinking about puting it in the glove box.

I'm going to be puting in a PC in my car soon, over the next 2 weeks. It will be fully capable of navi/wireless internet, mp3, DVD, etc. I've already seen the install in a buddy's Z and it is one of the coolest things I've seen in a car. Will post after that install...
