I'm getting a pair of your EC-7Rs for a drag setup in 17x 9.5. I'm thinking 275/40/17 in the rear, but if I were to purchase a whole 17 inch set what are my tires options for the front? Looking for a meatier more comfortable street setup.

There are a few different options for a 17" front fitment. You can run either our 17x8.5 ET40 or our 17x9 ET30 wheels up front. I would probably recommend the 17x9 ET30s as they are the same face profile (fully concave) as the rears. You can run a 245/40-17 or 235/40-17 tire on the 17x9 ET30 wheel without any issues.

Please keep in mind that the 275/40-17 tires may require rolled fenders and/or negative camber in the rear to fit without rubbing.

Thanks
-Tom

greetings, I am considering the set-up you have / or have had on your car with the Apex sm-10 wheels, it looks really sharp IMO. I happen to have the same exact car / color / m sport, albeit its a 335d.

1. Have you had good experience with this set-up?
2. Did you have to make any modifications?
3. What tire size did you go with?
4. What does the "+35" figure mean?

thanks!

Nice! I have ARC-8s on order in Matter Bronze. Same rear spec as yours. Upfront I went with 18x9 et 30.

I was looking at the same tires as well lol. Except I'd like to fit 275/30 in the rear and 245's upfront. Do you have enough clearance for 275's? Looks like I'll need to shave my fenders.

1. Yes! I run this most of the year
2. No although I run some small spacers due to my preferred look
3. Stock staggered sizes 225F 255R - I forget the sidewall size off the top of my head. Most likely 40/35
4. It is the offset spec of the wheel.

Got my Apex EC-7's fitted

18x9.5" ET35 Square Set up on my E91 LCi

10mm Front Spacer
5mm Rear Spacer (Due to current Clearance issues with the arch)

235/40/18 Front Tyre and 255/35/18 Rear Tyre

Camber:

2.0 Degrees Neg Front
2.8 Degrees Neg Rear

Some small Rubbing due to ride height so I will do some tweaking to the arches (Fenders) for better clearance.

What suspension are you using? How is ride on typical UK B roads? New England roads tend to be about the same if not worse depending on the town's level of pot holes.

Hi, I just wanted to double check fitment.

I have 2011 E90 328i X-Drive. Looking to wrap 17x9 ET30 Arc-8s in 245/40/17s (Continental Extreme Contact DWS). Will this rub on the stock suspension? Potentially looking into upgrading to KW V1s in the near future as well.
