Anyone ever try this?

So I tried the search function but all the results for screen/headunits came up with the ones that go into the dash. I love the look of this, but since you essentially need to carve up the top of your dash, I'm a bit weary..So just wondering if anyone here has tried something like this? Or anything similar? I have a 2011 E93 without iDrive, so no screen currently |

These piggyback on the existing system using the Aux for audio Input. I installed it in my car. Been using it for about a month now. So far it’s doing just fine. Only issue is like what ctuna mentioned, it’s using the aux input so don’t expect great sound. Not bad audio still.
