I'm still very happy with the downpipes. They completely got rid of the wastegate rattle noise. Sounds just like stock again (just a little louder exhaust note which sounds perfect IMHO).
Did you ask Cobb about the CEL? What did they say?

I got a generic reply from Cobb support.

Emissions testing varies so much from state to state that we just can't say for certainty if your particular set up will pass or not. Readiness monitors do not effect the tuning aspect, and so this is typically something we do not adjust. I'm sorry I couldn't help you out specifically, but it might be worth contacting a local shop to see what they recommend. You can find one on the Dealers and Tuners section of our website.
It doesn't matter though. You can still pass emissions by disabling the cat codes.

Sweet. I wanna attend the next one to. I Just had my vanos recall done on my car with 23K miles. Went to classic BMW. Car came back with grease all over the steering wheel and a nice 2 inch scratch on my rear right quarter panel. Emailed my service adviser and told me to bring the car in and they'll get it fixed. We'll see how that goes..It's a deep scratch plus my car has opticoat pro so that will make it even more interesting.

I will say there customer service has been good. Talked to them yesterday and they indicated they will do anything to make it how it was and they even stated that if it needed to go to the body shop and get repainted they would. I scheduled a day to bring it in and we shall see. If it does need to be repainted. They need to pay for opti coat pro to be applied since it's ok the rest of the car.

There are about 12K miles on the FMIC. It's off a n54, but it'll fit a n55. I'll get you some pics once it's actually off the car.

Classic bmw did a great job taking care of the damage. Got all scratches and grease off steerin wheel and even took out the key marks someone made.

Good deal. I took my 335is into Classic for a bunch of small warranty issues this week. Had no problems. I am glad they sorted you out. I hate it when dealers do bad shit to cars!

Well now that I have had it for a few days the TPM failed again and the seat belt extender arm thing that was replaced is rattling. Oh well...

Introduction

Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased a 2011 335is and live in Fairview. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

I've been driving a 2002 WRX for a long time which was highly modified. I'm looking forward to putting a little more horsepower into the BMW

Does anyone know of someone that can update software? I heard updating software can resolve the issues I'm having.

I having way to many issues with my car. NO sound coming out of my speakers.

1) 2nd stage malfunction light is on
2) tpms MALFUNCTION???
3) Rear tail light not working (not my brake light - its the light that stays on when xenon lights turn, the light that has bars on it) IDK what its called. I already changed the bulb housing. I traced the issue to no power coming from wire.

any thoughts?
