Hey Gents,
here is a new pair of Stage 1.5 hybrid turbos I'll be testing very soon. They feature a 15T lightweight billet compressor wheel with extended tip technology and bullet style compressor wheel fastening nut, a TD04 (9 blade) turbine wheel for improved efficiency whilst maintaining excellent spool characteristics and transient response. CHRA internals include a 360 degree upgraded thrust plate, collar and a high strength copper-alloy bearing assembly for extended durability under high boost applications. All the high speed dynamic balancing is performed on a top quality German made VSR machine by a VSR expert engineer at over 90,000rpm. The OEM wastegate assembly has been re-designed to see improvements in the following, wastegate flapper valve, sleeve, actuator arm and the actuator rod connector to eliminate the dreaded N54 wastegate rattle occurring. With high-flow inlets on straight E85 and the usual array of supporting mods/tuning expertise I believe they will support 375+rwkW. Pricing and info regarding a standard and Premium warranty option to follow shortly. Cheers, Justin. Last edited by JD75; 02-21-2017 at 06:03 AM.. Reason: Revision |

Further to my prior post these Stage 1.5 turbos will be available for $4,499 AUD on a core exchange basis.
They will be offered with either a standard warranty or Premium warranty option over a period of 12 months from the time of purchase. In the event of a turbo failure the standard warranty allows for associated shipping costs and the refurbishment of the turbos should the manufacturer deem the turbo failure not to be a result of an installation error, however in most cases refurbishment of the turbos on the basis of goodwill should apply. The Premium warranty will offer the above on a no questions asked basis with the addition of a $1,500 AUD rebate towards the R&R of the turbos, however the following guidelines must be meet at the time of purchase for the $1,500 rebate to apply. 1. The turbochargers must be installed at a recognised workshop who have experience in the installation of N54 turbos. 2. A complete OEM turbo installation kit must be purchased for use during installation. 3. The rear turbo compressor discharge pipe must be suitably modified to remove the flow restriction associated with the excessive steering shaft collision crush clearance. (N.B. this requirement only pertains to RHD vehicles) 4. A form of high-flow turbo inlet pipes must be fitted at the time of installation. 5. High-flow oil drains must be fitted at the time of installation. Dyno results to follow soon on the first set that have been sold and awaiting installation. :-) Cheers, JD. Hey guys,
here are a few pics of a N54 forged piston and connecting rod set from Pure Performance Motorsport. These particular pistons have a compression ratio of 9.5:1, they are custom made in Germany from 4032 grade aluminium alloy and use Japanese made chromoly steel rings. The billet steel 4340 H-beam mirror polished rods are rated at 300+ hp per cylinder and feature high-tensile ARP L-19 rod bolts. The rods can also be purchased in standard unpolished trim with ARP 2000 bolts. These little babies will support 550+rwkW when installed in a properly prepped short block, with the long engine subsequently assembled by a professional. Cheers, Justin. Joining the Club
Just a big shout out to Justin (JD75) from my first phone call to him in March this year to my last phone call to him 20mins ago. In this time my car pretty much became (A fukin bullet!) Justins & Advans! Unfortunalty my car was riddled with a few electrical issues, high kms and various workshops in melb “trying to get it right” (Without MODS) A few months have gone by as well as easily 15,000 phone calls and messages and my car is back home, dialed in a purring just the way Justin likes it hahaha. For anyone out there doing their own maintenance to a full build, do yourself a favor and get in touch with Justin. I don’t think there’s much about our platform that he doesn’t know about. Whether or not your buying parts, just his extensive knowledge and ongoing support is really second to none!! I should also mention that if your struggling to deal with Americans while ordering your parts... (that they all have in stock until you pay, and then receive an email advising back order for 2 weeks + shipping time to your door… Fuk that) Next day delivery is what you want, Ample stock of practically anything and everything, not to mention the one off custom gear that no one else has! Otherwise, from that impatient cunt in melb.... lol Justin, Advan and Trebila thanks for the entry to the club, The 400+ Club!! Last edited by _mpreza; 11-03-2016 at 07:37 AM.. |

Ok so as some say, go big or go home, lol.
Pics of the new VRSF 7.5" HD "Race" intercooler in comparison to a Wagner Tuning Evo 2 Competition cooler. Preliminary testing suggests that the VRSF "Race" cooler offers excellent IAT suppression with a negligible pressure drop across the core. The downside is it will require just a wee bit more trimming of the plastic cowling below the radiator support than their 7" cooler and it's heavy as fuck in comparison to the lightweight tube and fin Wagner, haha. I have one "Race" cooler in stock ready to ship. Cheers, JD. Last edited by JD75; 11-03-2016 at 09:54 AM.. Reason: Revision |

Hi Justin,
I'm after a rear brake kit for my 335i (2010 build n55) e93. Will purchase front and rear if it works out cheaper Wishlist is: -Slotted or drilled or both -Ceramic pads or balance between lower dust than oem and performance -squeak free (100% requirement) -ss brake lines Please provide prices for: Front Rear Front and rear I also may need to replace all my vacuum lines and boost solenoid (does an n55 have one?) Please review logs on third last post on page and advise if you have the parts to help http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...318714&page=20 Also the brakes I'm after is something like this http://www.vr-speed.com/manufacturer...brake-kit.html Budget for brakes is under $1000 all inclusive, lower the better, but prepared to pay a little more for quality if that makes sense Cheers mate!! (Same as text I sent, but out here in case any one else is after similar parts) |

Big thanks to JD75 for providing me with dba rotors front and rear, and cool carbon s/t pads front and rear
Should offer a braking performance upgrade as well as nicer looking discs which was the main reason for wanting slotted rotors. |
