2AAF code??
So the mechanic said that was the code and I figured it was my hpfp but he is saying it's the low pressure?
My car does go into limp mode and has engine malfunction and transmission malfunction with my brake light on and other lights. yesterday I was driving and my car shut off complete in drive I had to switch it to park and turn it back on it turned on fine. He said I had a crankshaft sensor code but it would come and go. Is it my hpfp or a low pressure sensor or is it my crankshaft or all three?

2AAF is Fuel Pump Plausibility?... This is the fuel pump(lpfp). Is this the only code the mechanic saw? I saw your other posts of same topic so have you got a full scan of all the codes?

That was the only code other than my crankshaft sensor but he said that code was coming and going but I'm going to replace my crankshaft sensor and also lpfp hopefully that solves the limp mode and all the lights popping up.

Im getting the 2AAF Fuel Pump Plausibility code also but no CEL.
If it goes into limp mode when I'm doing a pull I will take a look at the file auto logged on my last pull and see if my low pressure fuel pump dipped below 50psi. If so its got to be related and time for a full E85 capable LPFP. Last edited by N54rsenal; 10-10-2018 at 11:27 PM.. |
