Bent rim repair recommendations please

One of my 162 rims is slightly bent and is causing lots of vibrations. Any recommendations on local places to get it straightened? Any cost guesses also? The guys putting my tires on said its not too bad but it's causing me problems.

Thanks

there's http://www.rimandwheelworks.com/ they're really good and in waltham.

http://www.rimpro.com/index.html they're based in tewksbury and they're really good as well.

I haven't used either yet but from my days in the audi forums..both are highly recommended. Most go to rim pro though there's a generic price list on both their pages

THANK you so much. I emailed Rim & Wheel Works as they're closer to where I live in Dorchester, hopefully they can take the rim right off my car, straighten, and replace without issue and I'll be back on the road without issue.

Thanks again

Got my tires done today @ Rim & Wheel Works, worked with one of the techs there and they showed me each wheel on the machine and how bad they were. Really good dealing with them, had 3 of my wheels straightened and back on my car in under an hour, can't recommend them enough if you need it done!

Glad to hear they took care of you!

I've had wheels refinished and straightened at RimPro (they were closer to me) and had excellent results.

Whatever you do, stay far away from the wheel refinishing in Peabody on Route 1 (near the 93 intersection). I've had a terrible experience working with the owner, Joe, who had my wheels for 9 months, and they came out awful!

This is why I don't go to Rim & Wheel works anymore...how can you trust a business that has a company that shouldn't trust their own workers?

Try rob with wheel solutions. He did two of my wheels and absolutely no wobble at all.

Try Alloy Wheel Repair. I just used them to repaint a few chips on a new wheel and they did a great job. They also reroll/straighten wheels as well as fix cosmetic and structural damage. Most fixes can be done onsite with their mobile repair unit.

Good luck!
