Chipped 335's

Quick question for those with chipped 335s.

Are our cars that smooth that I cannot feel the power from a stop (I really can't feel my car is that fast from a stop when I launch it hard)? I, however, feel that the car is much stronger when I floor it from a roll (2nd and 3rd).

Thoughts?

I've noticed the same thing, maybe some extra lag from the altitude. IMO that much torque at a low rpm should feel faster, at least it did in a previous modded V8 car I had, but that car was far from smooth. It definitely feels much faster above 3-4K rpm.

I feel the same, Matt. My previous car feels like it was a rocket from a stop.

I'm AWD (auto also), so no traction issues. Also running Procede V4 5-15, still a 335/Procede newb, have yet to hook up a laptop to it. Not sure if it's a tuning issue or lag from the thin air.

I'm far from an expert, but could be a result of AFR going too rich at WOT and low rpm, computer is expecting more air/faster response from the turbos, but it's not happening at this altitude. I'll have to hook up a laptop and do a log, serial/usb cable is on the way.

A lot of the new maps are pretty much tuned to be lag free. Let me know when you want to meet up Alfred and we will compare.

Nope. Just see how his car will do against mine to see if his JB3 is working. Are you telling me Alfred that you can't tell the difference between a chipped 335 and an Audi TT?

Thanks V. Will need to do that ASAP.
What about an Audi TT? I'm confused.

I'd love to take it to bandi and see how it does...but I won't be able to go until August.

Didn't you drive an Audi TT before your 335?
