Removing Airbag light pls Help !

Hi Folks,

Please can someone help with possibly a simple fix ?. I’ve removed my rear seats and all the seat belts etc as I’m making my car into a Track / fast road car.

As I have removed the rear seat belt buckles these are attached to those restraints that pull the belt on impact , these must be linked to the airbag system as now I have removed them , I have the dash light on !

I just joined the wires together to try to fool the system that it is still all connected but this has not worked.

Has anyone please any help how to remove the light on dash, and should it be ok with me keeping the wires joined together ?.

I tried the resistor trick but this didn’t work either .

Will I just need a good obd reader like a snap on one , and then reset the light ?

Hope someone can please help

THANKYOU
