Nope, no spacers.

I do plan to go with a bit wider tire once these wear out. I also plan to run maybe 8-10mm spacers with wheel stud conversions.

So when I picked up the trunk I noticed there was a bit of orange peel, which is expected. I decided to wet sand the clear to make it better. Now I have done headlights and small pieces, but never something as large as a trunk.

Before

Starting to wet sand

Not completely done - still want to polish the paint a bit more

Well today was interesting. I knew of this issue beforehand, but today I started dealing with it. So I installed the front door panels no problem....

but......

The rear door panels could not be installed. My grey rear door panels had the provisions for rear speakers, while these new door panels do NOT.

There is a plastic bracket on the inside of the door panel that the speaker mounts to. I had to pry this bracket (they are glued on) off and will need to re-use it on the new door panel. I will also need to cut the hole in the panel for the speaker. Pain in the ass

EDIT: I'd also like to add a couple of tidbits from this swap. This saddle brown/black interior was from a 2010. Swapping these LCI seats into my pre-LCI car were completely plug and play. Also, these front seats have "active headsets" and are non-adjustable like the pre-LCI headrests are. Annoying lol.
Nice work! I'm going to swap out my seats soon to the sports seats like yours (base seats are boring)
I'll be getting the same black though cause this is to much work haha
looks waaay better though! love the brown

Thank you! It was definitely a lot of work doing the interior. Swapping just the fronts will be pretty easy! Let me know how it goes.

Took a shot this morning

To remove them is just 4 torx bolts and then undoing some connectors. Now going from non-sport to sport is a whole different story. I'm not sure what's needed to do that swap.

Almost done!

As you can see I still need to change the door panels over. The rear door panels that are going in do not have the provisions for the speakers so I will need to make the holes myself and add the black speaker trim. I still need to buy some black floormats, as well as some small trim pieces on the dash to complete everything 100%. I already have someone coming to buy the old interior in a couple of days. This was a lot of freaking work. I am really happy with how great it looks though! Would love some feedback.
Much appaluse for you mate
I did this mod as well so I know what a massive job changing everything over including the carpets. Bravo

Jesus dude Makes me wish I would've gotten a color like sparkling graphite metallic over BSM lol it looks great especially with the brown interior and 219M's! Those coilovers give it a great stance too and I need to get my hands on those headlights lol love the build man. Very inspiring. Love to see a high mileage 335i sedan getting the love it deserves lol keep it up bro can't wait to see where you take it from here
