My e92 build thread

Here we go , my 325 coupe m-sport in red . Was completely standard when i bought it .
First mods was carbon fiber badges and black kidneys

Just lower it right down so the adjuster ring sits inside the barrel

Looks a bit tight.

Won't that rub going round bends with tyre flex?

If i do that tyre will touch the spring .Have tried everything and the moment i have got 5mm spacers on , fitted for a laugh 20mm spacers , but it was way too much poke

F@@k that's close what make are the coils, I had some with a sleave on the bottom so you could double adjust them, drop the bottom and take up the top to move them away from the rim, they were tuning arts, cheap coiles but did the job

What?! The tyre doesn't flex at the top?! It has no load on it there!

Considering the wheel and lower section of coilover move together, they could be *** paper clearance and never hit.

When you get a flat tyre, does the air only come out the bottom?

Most flex will be at the bottom, but look for images of cars heavily loaded on a front wheel. You will notice that none of the sidewall is square.

Nice one. Ive just had mine fitted but not sitting that low. Need to check ground clearance in my driveway and then maybe drop it a bi more. But i wouldnt get away with anything like that.

Yes, FK highsports , ride quality very similar to msport .Had them on few other cars and they where brilliant .

My z4 all they way down on fk's It was my daily too .
