Mishimoto Z-line FMIC any good?
long story short, my buddy hooked me up with a mishimoto z-line universal FMIC for christmas and i'm not sure how much good it'll do. Its taller than the stock part but its not as thick and it certainly doesn't look half as big as the VRSF 7'' that i've had my eyes on for a couple months since i bought the car. Another red flag to me is its about 300$ less than the VRSF and usually you get what you pay for. I hate to sound ungrateful but at the same time I also want to use good quality parts in my car.
https://www.mishimoto.com/mishimoto-...ler-small.html - link to the one he got me. I don't plan on going crazy with this car, maybe stage 2+ OTS mhd at most. What are you guys' thoughts? Thanks! |

Might actually be a down grade. It's only 2.5" core. You also need the couplers, clamps and plumbing to make it work and find a way to mount it too.
Better off returning it and getting a plug and play FMIC. |

No good
They do have an intercooler that's meant to be used with your car. It is a stock replacement intercooler. At current price point, not sure its a great buy though
