Awful to see this, my prayers to you while you deal with this . I can see that you are making light of the situation, and that's good (that's the right attitude) but it requires a lot of strength to do that. Also thanks for the heads up, I currently don't have fire coverage ... might have to consider!

So my e90 caught fire last Friday.
My car had the recall done in April of 2019. My car started having a funny smell, then the blower shut off. Before I could pull off the road I stated getting smoke in the cabin. Car shuts down. Throw into neutral and pull into a parking lot. Immediately get out and open trunk to disconnect the battery. Then open the passenger door and glovebox. Pull the panel in the glovebox and hit it with the extinguisher. Car did not burn up. You can see exactly where the heat was on the kick panel. You can also see the exactly where the wiring shorted and burned. I have opened case with BMW because you can see exactly where the fire started. Last edited by techwhiz1; 08-13-2021 at 01:39 PM..
