I've driven behind diesel with no DPF/SCR that was aggressively/badly mapped. It was not good.

You feel the poison entering your lungs giving huge headache afterwards. Sure it's small dose but exposure to it every day eventually messes up health.
I guess you'll have to drive one instead of driving behind one to understand

I'm in Waco, I'll do it if you buy all the parts lol, also american muffler in ft worth will do it, probably a few shops in houston and San Antonio who will, Austin is full of tree huggers so they won't

Every shop I've tried refuses to touch it... legal reasons.
I just had a full delete, 2.8 tune and walnut intake cleaning completed in the Fort Worth area, really happy with the results, worth every penny. I know it is a drive for you but the shop is top notch.

So the stealer wanted 4,500 to replace the DEF tanks, car is now out of warranty so it was time to do the delete plus a few other things. I did catless ATM down pipe, EGR race pipe, SCR delete, walnut blast intake, replaced all vacuum lines, fluidamper, replaced belts and pulleys, 2.8 tune my euro tune, XHP stage 3 trans tune and just ordered ATM intercooler. I have about 6 K in it. It's a lot of money but I love the car and the work has had many benefits including better mileage, substantial increase in horsepower/torque and no longer experience the choking effects of emissions. You can certainly just do the delete and save money but it is highly recommended to at the very least do the recommended 90K services. The 335D is a different beast but a superior value in my opinion. Properly cared for, the diesel is a capable of going for easily several hundred thousand miles.

Thx man. Per KBB, the car value is 9-10K so I'm really in a dilemma to spend 2-3K on delete (I just want the basic delete plus CAT so it's not too noisy). Trying to explore my options here.

Tired of the check engine light and spending 1500 every time it comes on.

Unearthing this thread again... new user and looking for any help in Houston Texas. Looking for delete help for an e70; usually DIY but new baby and job mean I'd like to source this one out (removing, gutting, down pipe etc).

Can make a new post too if anyone gets mad about my hijacking here...
