curbside wheel repair places.. are they legit?
Have some curb rash and scratches on the face of the rim that i would like to get fixed on an e92 335i
Wanted to get some feedback on these places that come out and fix the tire while its on the car. As i understand they just sand the rash down and bondo/ paint it/ polish it. Can someone with personal experience chime in and let me know how well this type of repair holds and how good it looks? also.. how does this differ from places that actually remove the tire and "repair" the wheel? any feedback will be appreciated Last edited by igell; 11-06-2012 at 05:22 PM.. |

Only wheel repair I've ever had was from a place that comes to my office and fixes it while I work. Never had a complaint, and never had a reason to have them come back out to re-do their repair.
