John
I have LUX coming in shortly, most if not all are allocated to pre-orders, another batch will follow in a few weeks.
Is your E90 an LCI, if so H8 globes are suitable, if it's pre-LCI, then it's a different globe.

Thanks Rob,

LUX are not suitable, these bulbs are the same as the LCI E53 X5, here's a set I installed on a car, they go for $150 for the pair inc GST and I can fit them for you at no charge.
Also suits pre-LCI E60 with Xenons so you might need two pairs (?)

Depends on the year of the X5 and whether it has halogens or Xenons...

the E53 X5 posted above is not an H8 globe, I have the LEDs for them but can't remember what base it is.

Early E70 X5s don't use an H8 globe (on Aus spec cars - many US sites say the E70 uses an H8 bulb) - they use the same bulb as the E53.

thanks Stu, i just notice the x5 angle eyes so much more. Height they sit at maybe? but to me they seem a hell of a lot brighter on both eyes then my LUX8s.

Ok great, when can you fit them this week Stu? I think I'm definitely sold on the BMW Performance gloss black grilles as well if you have those in stock.

How much can you get a pair of E70 LCI tail lights in for? Because so far all the prices I have received are astronomical. Would you also be able to get in a Bluetooth module for an E60 5 series? All the wiring has been put in from the factory but the module is missing.

Do you know if I can retrofit an X5 M steering wheel to an X5 with the sports package?

E70 LCI taillights aint cheap. I've ordered it from overseas, the installation itself was quite easy, though requires coding.

I've been looking for an X5 Msport steering wheel for a while

Hey man,

Would you mind sharing who you bought them off? As far as I know everything is plug and play and it only requires some coding to make them work perfectly.

What else have you done to your X5? Got any photos?

I was researching today about retrofitting the X5 M steering wheel, however it appears it is near impossible to do it because they are not exactly the same. Ours already has the Sports package from the factory which means we optioned it with the sports steering wheel.

Do you know where I could get an M-Sports steering wheel from? I might be interested in organising a group buy if you're keen

Have you got any photos after the installation of the LCI tail lights?

I'm currently on the LUX Angel Eye website Stu and it says that the LUX H8 V3 AEs are compatible with pre-LCI X5's. Is that correct because as far as I'm aware you told me that they aren't compatible last time.

If they are, could you please bring me in a set for the X5?

Product Compatibility:

• 1-series and 1M – E82 | (2007-Current)
• 3-series Coupes – E92 | (2006-2010)
• 3-series Convertibles – E93 | (2006-2010)
• 3-series Sedan LCI (with Xenon) – E90 | (2009-2012)
• M3 coupes /convertible / sedans – E90, E92, E93 | ( 2006-Current)
• 5-series Sedan LCI | (2008-2010) ***
• X1 (with Xenon) – E84 | (2010-2012)
• X5 ( with Xenon) pre-LCI – E70 | (2007-2011)
• X6 – E71 | (2008-2011)

Hi,

we can supply... for installs, ask Pete at Advan Performance in Auburn 9648 3366 as he will be able to look after you.

We have the KW V1 priced at $1,890

The KW V2 is priced at $2,390 as well if you would like damper adjustability.

Pete at Advan also has the BC Coilovers on offer if you want to get more information from him on those.

Let me know if you need any further information.

Cheers,
Stuart @ BMR
