No offense taken, Varise. English is not my primary language, sorry.

I know you probably didn't mean it to sound this way, but that comment sounds incredibly arrogant. It shouldn't matter what you are driving - no one wants to waste or lose money. I can think of many ways to spend 150 dollars...so I guess I do care about 150 dollars (maybe the fact that I care about $150 is the reason I am driving a BMW). Some of the things you post Eugen....I'm just going to put it off on language differences, and not assume you really are as pompous and arrogant as your posts seem to indicate.

Does this mean there's no separate V2 upgrades being sold anymore? And V1.47/1.48 is no longer being sold either?

I was just asking for advice on a restaurant in Zurich to invite some of my collaborators. I called a Swiss friend in Beijing and he advised me to go to the Haus zum Rüden, which I did and where we had a truly remarkable dinner experience: one of the best venison I've had in a long time. Bamby sure tastes delicious . I am sure you're familiar with that place.

I copied this morning your thread about the speed delimiter, so you're pardonned Eugen!

Yes, one can still purchase a v2 upgrade for the same $150 as before (the link was erroneously removed.. it will be back). But we are not selling v1 PROcedes anymore. Does anyone think that we still should given that v2 PROcede is now the same price?

If you buy a PROcede and download the old firmware/software, and remove the extra wiring, you sure can re-create a V1.4x very easily.

The first few days with V2.02, I missed the massive torque of my V1.45, but now that the ECU adapted to the new tune, I love the substantial and linear power delivery all the way to the red line.

No. Just kinda sucks. We all realize prices come down with time. My friggin TV used to be $1500 more than a better equipped TV now, and I just bought it 2 years ago. That's technology.

While $150 is not a huge deal, I do feel that this adds insult to injury - as a day 1 purchaser of V2 upgrade I have been delayed numerous times to receive my V2, It finally arrived 20 hours ago in the mail, today that same V2 is included for free. while I enjoy vishnu's product and value Shiv's expertise I would reconsider doing business with them again.

It pretty much sucks for those of us who ordered this thing in September and didn't receive it until last week. Now it's free. WTF?

I could have waited one more week after 3 months if I'd known it was going to be free.
Apple did it with the iPhone.

It's just the nature of the beast. There will always be something bigger better faster and cheaper... You can pay the early adopter fee, or just wait and get it a little bit later.

I was in line to get an iPhone the first day it came out, when they dropped the prices I wasn't angry at all. You pay to play [early]

Running the v1 PROcede for as long as you did wasn't worth $150?

Even with the rebate, I still ended up paying an extra $100 for being one of the first to get it. But to me at least, using it that extra month or two was worth the extra $ and few updates I felt compelled to do through iTunes. The whole rotating screen thing did it for me

Hey maybe 150 dollars is not that much to you "money Bags" but its the point of the matter..Money is money regardless of the denomination or how much..Thats pretty petty of you to even say something like that especially for a guy that wants a conservative tune...If you wanted a conservative tune maybe you should of stayed with JB2 instead of such an "aggressive" tune like Procede thats not perfect for your otherwise perfect car....I don't understand how you can say something like that about $150...Shit thats money and by any means I am not poor but quite comfortable, but when you feel its "only" 150 what does that say for yourself "Pettiness"

So, that makes it right? That's why I didn't buy an I-phone.

Just because other companies do it doesn't make it right or acceptable.

I don't understand why you have been such a arrogant, pompous person lately...Its has to be after the thread that I started with u leaving the Procede tune...You gained some fame and think that you are almighty, but please come down to earth my friend....There are also very comfortable, affluent people here in the states and not just in your beloved Switzerland

The dollar is so low now that Eugene receive a big ass discount. He loves shopping in the US. Right Eugene? I think it is the principle. The Procede is getting close to the price of the Dinan so there has to be Price reason to buy the Procede I guess.
