Electrical problems help

i bought a wrecked 2008 335xi 72k miles and having 2 problems one is the engine ground starter wont turn over unless i ground the body to engine but that ground gets hot when it starts and second is i have missfire on #6 cylinder, new plugs and switched coil packs getting spark on it. car was hit in pass. side front door fender areareplaced the battery cable that blows off and curtain airbag blowed any help would be appreciated
