So, day 4. This is the day we leave behind the sedate roads of the German Alpine Route and drop down into Austria and tackle the Solk Pass, Turracherhohe Pass and the Nockalm Pass. I'm so excited i barely slept last night and woke up at 02.30am! Anyway, after a quick bit of reading about how awful England were against Iceland, i was back asleep in no time.

And so, day 4 is at an end. We are half way through our road trip. Tomorrow sees us continue into Italy and leave Austria behind. But we'll be back........
