N46 no ignition, no crank

Good evening everybody, I hope you're doing fantastic!

I have some issues with my 320i from 2005. It seems like I cannot start the engine at all, something weird is going on.

So, in the morning when I wanted to leave with the car, I've inserted the key, dash came up to life, but when I've pressed the start button, nothing happened, not even a click from the starter.

After a few attempts, the battery went out flat. So I thought the battery is faulty, therefore I brought another car and tried to start it.

Same story, dash came up to life but nothing happened.

Tried with a jumper as well, no luck at all.

Tonight, I went and took out the ground cable. I mean is not in the best condition but this could be the culprit? Honestly, I've seen worse than this, but I've ordered one already, gonna change it tomorrow.

Any ideas?

Lucian

So as you can see, I dont't have ignition at all, I cannot diagnose the car. Any idea is appreciated.

Does your car have comfort access?

You can still read the fault memory of the car with no ignition if you have ISTA
