hi guys ive recently purchased a 318i e90 2007 plate, the 2lt petrol engine in it is dead and long past re-build so was just wondering if any could advice on what petrol turbo lump would bolt straight into the chassis

Factoring in all the costs to purchase the items required and do the work, would you be better just buying a 335i?
