Good luck!

Over on Bimmerfest a lot of Stamford guys recommend this place

http://motorcepts.com/

Its in Queens NY but apparently they do a great job.

Other options, I have only used these guys for Brakes, but dispite the name they pretty much do anything and they are an authorized tirerack installer and when tirerack screwed up one of my tires, these are the guys they recommended over the phone. They are by appointment only because they are small and they are never lacking for work.

These guys do a ton of custom work and you can go check out the cars they are working on in the shop. They ARE NOT CHEAP but I have yet to hear a single bad thing about them and my buddy who has an RS4 had them fix a problem his dealer in Fairfield apparently had no idea how to fix. Also, a co-worker of mine with a 335xi had a bushing problem with his front end and after several dealer visits and one indy shop, these guys where the only ones who knew that for that car if there was one bad bushing you needed not only to change all of them on one side, but on both the L and R of the car. he has not had a problem since.

These would be my choices.

Thanks for the info, but im still looking for someone semi local to me that has a garage and some tools and not a professional shop. Someone that does side work etc. Just trying to save a few bucks on the install but if not i will bring it to proformance or the shop.
