Halogen to xenon swap

Tried searching and couldn't find any specific answers.
So I just upgraded to a 2011 328xi and I love everything about it, minus the dull halogen headlights. If I could get my hands on a pair of xenons with the bulbs and ballasts, would it just be plug and play? Or would there be rewiring and or coding involved? I'd appreciate any help!

If they aren't adaptive then you just have to add a ground for pin 4 and recode.

For adaptive headlights you'll need a new frm and some wiring.

Its actually pin 4 that needs to be grounded, also pin 5 needs to be connected to plug X14260 pin 41 on the frm.
