E91 LED Interior Light Upgrade Results

Just wanted to share a recent interior LED light upgrade that went well.

I purchased a complete interior kit from Ali Express - There are so many options and many look alike...clone of clones??. Decided on this set from BMTxms.

13pc Touring Light Kit - $15

Bag of CAN bus T10s - $4.68

Installation was relatively easy. Only the front map/reading lamp and hatch require patients. The included tool helps a lot.

The only negative about the kit is that it needed 4 more T10s to be truly complete. It misses 2 the front flood lamp and 2 under the dash lamps. I used the generic CAN bus T10's linked above to complete the installation.

In the pictures you will see the door flood lamps installed, I initially missed the 2 LED on my wagon D-pillars (facing forward).

No warning lights, all working well so far. I'll update if any of the lights fail.

Are these still able to dim in and out like the OEM bulbs did when the car "wakes up"? Or do they kinda do that weird flickering thing some LED conversion set ups do

These wake up like the OEM lights. Working great so far! I did use my generic T10's to replace the lights below the dash (foot well area).
