Thank you. I had it at the 5 o'clock position, but was throwing 29F4 and 29F5. I increased the strength, but also realized I did not reselect the oem/catted DP option in MHD when I flashed back to stage 0. After reflashing the car and with the dial at ~8 o'clock I am currently throwing 29E0 and 29E1. Should I go back to 5 o'clock and give it another try?

Yes go back to the 5 o'clock position and clear all codes.

Got it to work. Went back to the 5 o'clock position and was still throwing 29F4 and 29F5. Adjusted it to 7 o'clock and same result. It finally completed the catalyst check at ~8:30. Thanks for the help.

Can't get Evap to set ready

I have a 2012 335is with catless DPs. I'm running MHD and was running stage 2+. I had no codes so went to get emissions checked and got "not ready for Cats and O2 sensor. I purchased your DPfix and installed it last eve. and flashed back to Stage 0. Went out and drove it for a "drive cycle" and got Catalyst to set right away, but still have O2 sensor not ready and now Evap not ready. Evap was ready before. I went out and drove it more this morning and went about 50 miles. Tried to follow the drive cycles posted online.. for the most part. Drove down residential streets, divided highways, expressways, etc. but can't get O2 or Evap to set ready. The emissions here allow 1 not ready, so I really just need the Evap to set again like it was before. Any ideas why the O2 sensor is showing not ready? And more importantly why the Evap is not setting. Will it not reset if the O2 sensor isn't reset? No DME codes in MHD "check codes". I even stopped by a local repair shop and had them check with their scanner.. same 2 not ready. He did find a code A6CF which is for AUC sensor but that seems to be the sensor that controls the recirculation for the A/C. It was not a main DME fault code. HELP!

What codes are you getting. If you have a snap shot off the mhd would be helpful

When you say it took a little while longer for Evap to set ready.. what do you mean by that? How many miles did you drive? How long did it take?

If there are no codes then I would try the following
1. Clear adaptions and try the drive cycle again
2. Adjust the dial clockwise 1/8 of a turn and perform the drive cycle. If you start to get a code then you dial it back.

For the most part both should show up as ready but sometimes it does take a little longer unless you have a fouled sensor. This could be checked by moving the black male pin from position 19 to position 20. Position 20 is the other post o2 sensor. Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Do you have an install guide? I picked up one of these secondhand and need to get the track car snogged ASAP.

Thanks!

When I couldn't get the Evap or O2 to set "complete" I tried turning the dial up to about 7 but got the 2C31/2C32 codes. Turned it back down to 6, then 5, and then 4:30. Had to drive 20 or so miles to clear the codes. Cats set ready right away but O2 and Evap still not ready. At the 4:30 position I took it for several cold start dive cycles and on the last one also drove about 25 miles on back roads at mostly 55mph. Stopped at a store and when I came out I checked and the Evap finally showed "complete"! Took it in the next day and passed!.. So, at least on my 2012 335is the 4:30 positions worked, but due to having to disconnect the battery to install the DPfix which resets everything to "incomplete", it took a LOT of miles of driving to finally set Evap ready.. so be patient. Many thanks to taz2co0 for his help!
