Help with buying new wheels and what size/width. Thanks!
Hey guys/gals,
Thanks for reading this and any input you give me will be appreciated. I'm looking into buying some new VMR V710FF Rims for my 2011- 335i. I was told by a VMR rep that 19x8.5 ET35 in the front, and 19x9.5 ET33 in the rears are are the recommended fitment for my car, but I want to go more aggressive. Is it a big deal to go 19.9.5 in the front and 19x10.5 in the rears? FYI, my car is XDRIVE, so I'm not even sure if staggered is a good idea. Best, Richard |

They recommended that fitment because its probably close to the largest you can fit without further modification. Up to you if you want to roll fenders or get a camber kit to achieve a larger wheel. You need to think about tire sizes too.
Your wheels need to be the same rolling diameter because of X-drive, and going square is usually the easiest way to guarantee that, but you can stagger them if you get your numbers right. |
