This Saturday @ Osbourn Park Senior Highschool in Manasses, it's near New Braddock Road (take a left if you're facing the Multiplex). Check-in at 8AM, there will be four heats, I'm signed up for heat 2, six runs total with fun runs at the end. $35 for non-members (they have a membership freeze right now).

Yeah, empty out everything and take out the floormats in the front. I think Sam said he can't make it to this one.

Yeah, my friend is coming with me (driving my car at the event). Also, I think there are a few ECE members going too, we'll all convoy together.

I wish I could come, but David is right :mad: I got our annual charter fishing trip with my alumni bros... gonna go terrorize the Chesapeake for a few hours

The CDC event I went to had free beverages (water and soda) and you could buy food (hotdogs $1, brats $2 ... I even worked the damn grill for a while when Joe the grill guy jumped into the seat for a few runs!). If you want something specific, you should bring your own.

As for tire pressure, fuel level, etc. I wouldn't worry about it to much this time around. Doubtful that having a qtr tank of gas and having tire pressure dialed in front/rear is gonna shave a lot of time off your runs

My advice -- have fun and drive the hell out of your car. Don't stay in 1st gear like David. If you're uncomfortable with the course layout, ask if an instructor or someone who knows the course to ride along the first few runs. Personally I think half the battle is just getting comfortable with the course layout and where to point your car. I wouldn't focus to much on times per se -- I would just focus on trying to improve your times with every run. If it was anything like last time, there will be some fast cars out there!
