Loose Suspension

I've had the car aligned at an indie, and then at the dealership. Neither could find anything wrong. But. Going down a road or highway with grooves, the car will do anything it can to get out of the grooves. I'm running 225/35/19 35 in front and 255/30/19 35 run flats in back. This is a 2.8 deleted car.

Any ideas before I start throwing parts at it?

I'm assuming those grooves are made from semis which would mean the width of the two grooves are wider than a 335d which makes perfect why it try getting out of the grooves

I experienced what you are describing with RFTs. I went to go flat mpss and ride is smooth as butter and straight as an arrow. Very little steering input vs almost a workout driving with the rfts.

Kind of just the way it is. Low profile tires are terrible in ruts - the phenomenon is called tramlining, btw.

Be sure your tire inflations are exactly on the recommended. RFT's seem to be excessively sensitive if not right on.

Many high performance tires feature a directional tread pattern, and that pattern can make tramlining a stronger possibility. With a wider treaded tire, you may encounter more longitudinal ruts and/or grooves in the road than a narrow treaded tire. A tire with large tread blocks that transmits the driver's input to the road with great precision will also transmit the road's imperfections back to the vehicle's suspension. And because tires become more responsive as their tread depth wears away (which is why tires are shaved for competition and track use), a tire will become more likely to tramline as it wears.

Granted there is more of a tendency for tramlining with the wider tires, these are a more recent addition. The issue was increasing with the stock 225/45/17's 4 months ago even after an alignment, and the wider tires exacerbated the issue. I'm looking for recommendations on what to replace and in what order to tighten things up in general. I'm looking to do upgrades in the process as well, but don't want the car to sit lower due to occasional boat towing. Even over small bumps the car feels a little loose and can do some horizontal shimmy.
