is this right....
39nas... 0-60 in 11.1 seconds... either:

1) There is an error somewhere or
2) your mom was driving
3) you started in 4th, while eating a pizza and texting your sister....

Since it is a 60-130 run, he probably isn't interested in getting the best launch, or wasting the run up to 60mph heating up the intercooler, etc on full boost. Or he may have just been cruising making sure everything was set in the right gear, etc, to mash the throttle right before 60mph.

this is what I was doing? ahahhhahhaha

at lunch i shot up to the local choke and puke and ate a burger and fries then on the way back with 3 people in the car i went 0-60 in 4.5X on the v box not sure if that is good or not but it was fun. launched it pretty light like around 3 grand ish stock clutch hooked right up and away we went.

Hotrod I am logging the car today and then shooting the logs over to terry for some tweaking!

I did a 7.28 second 60-130 today. Took a 131.8mph qtr mile trap to achieve this!

guys is it safe to assume between 11s-12s for a 6MT e92 with these mods:
JB4 map2
FMIC
DP
DCI
93 octane

could it be less than 11s? anyone tried it with the same mods?

I think it's a pretty safe bet. Getting under 11s will probably require either more mods or a weight reduction, or a steeper hill A 3% slope is allowed, but where I drive it's really flat, so ~1.2% is the best I can find. Of course this doesn't make the car any faster, just gives you a better time to show

I have improved my time to 11.71 the other day after adjusting my tune a bit, but I know it can improve a bit more more, so I'll wait before I send in a new file, but I'm expecting to hit ~11.5s.

With the JB4, you may be able to go a little faster.

Well. I finally found the time and place to test again after I adjusted the performance on the Steinbauer box. It had been turned down to ~80% before I installed FMIC and DP's and I never got around to adjusting it afterwards. Well, I did now. I don't know how much more I can turn it up (it can be adjusted from 50%-130% and it's now at 100% (pot).

Exactly the same mods as in post #73, I will repeat here anyway:

My car is a E92, 335i MT. Time was done in 3rd and 4th gear (1 shift)

The mods of my car are: Steinbauer ECU Tuning (piggy bag), Wagner Tuning FMIC, Wagner Tuning 3" catless DPs, BMS DP fix, AFE DCI Stage 2 air intake, Forge DV's (green springs, yellow are going in tomorrow) Quaife ATB LSD, BMS speed delimiter (not that it matters for a 60-130 time...)

I run on pump Shell V-power 99 octane (in Denmark), it's the same as 93 in the US afaik.

The time was 11.33 seconds, with somewhere between 0.1 and 0.2 sec worth of wheelslip @ ~93 mph

Screenshot below, file sent to Mr.5

Thanks, I wasn't expecting to get below 11.5 actually, so I was quite exited when I saw the result myself

I'm putting the yellow springs in the Forge DV's this evening to see if I can up the performance just a little bit more on pump gas.

Well. I just picked up the car from the dealer today after having 5 out of 6 injectors replaced (free of charge, service bulletin)

I have also added som Cyba Scoops since my last post, and this time I found hill with a little more slope (still within 3%), however this time I had a full tank of gas and some luggage on board.

My car is a E92, 335i MT. Time was done in 3rd and 4th gear (1 shift). I think installing the M shift knob in stead of the regular one (since the 11.33 sec time) has helped me shave at least 0.1 sec of the gear change. The Cyba Scoops definately helped as well.

The mods of my car are: Steinbauer ECU Tuning (piggy bag), Wagner Tuning FMIC, Wagner Tuning 3" catless DPs, BMS DP fix, AFE DCI Stage 2 air intake, Forge DV's (yellow springs), Cyba Scoops, Quaife ATB LSD, BMS speed delimiter

This run was done on pump Shell V-power Racing 100 octane (in Germany), it's the same as 94 in the US afaik.

The time was 10.83 seconds.

Vbox .dbn file sent to MR.5

Now I am waiting for my catback exhaust to arrive next week

I guess Mr.5 is busy racing his car somewhere, or maybe I'm the only one still active in this thread...

I think Mr. 5 sold his 335i and going the practical slow rout due to family. Not sure who's confirming times now, but it would be good to keep this going.

Yah, sorry about that guys.
I'm still going to verify the times, but I haven't been around in a while.
I would love to do more 60-130 times but if I would try it in my e36, I'd be lucky to hit 20 seconds. lol!
I'll be first on the list for the F80 M3 though.
List is updated.

mr. 5, sent you a file for verification

8.9sec 60-130mph
Pump gas + 70/30 meth
COBB stockish custom map (stock timing, stock boost, 12 AFR)
JB4 progressive meth upping boost to 18.5-19psi (too aggressive for pump gas and some timing was pulled)
FBO
Wavetrac LSD
Race Weight of car: 3540lbs + 225lbs driver = 3765lbs
19" wheels 245 tires front, 17" wheels and MT ET DRs on the back
Dual CM7 nozzles

Next time out it'll be on full weight again but on race gas instead of pump and I'll have my street tires on the back as DRs might be a tad slower at a low psi for 60-130 runs...i'll also try going down to a single CM10 nozzle for a bit less flow

FWIW, my best on stock turbos with weight reduction (seats out) 20psi and race gas+meth was 10.5secs
