Hi guys,

Just want to advertise for this guys Peter who superchipped my 320d two months ago. He is coming to Australia on the 27th of July and leaving 9th of August.

After two months of testing (+44bhp/+103nm) i got to say i am pretty damn plead that i chipped it. I went toe to toe aginst a 330d in a drag race and manage to keep up with Renualt Megane RS250 drag in the rain.
(I also saved Woosh's ass in the sand)

Downside for diesel version:
Gear box, most of 3series uses GA6HP19Z and according to the spec the max tolerance is 400nm. Stock 320d is 350nm and supposely plus 100nm= 450nm which is slightly pushing the limit of the gear box thus increase the wear and tear. But i did read somewhere GA6HP19Z can handle peak torque of 450. Not too sure how reliable the information is.

Anyone who helped me out is my friend and i would do anything in my power to help them. And i still feel sorry for letting him sleep inside his car in a bloody freezing night. Though i did provide him 2x blanket and pillow/3x coffee and scramble egg in the morning.

The cost is $1,000, this guy Peter come to your garage. Need power plug for his laptop, table and a simple socket set thens hes got the rest. Process tooks around 3 to 4 hours.

What year model is your 325i, still have warranty left?
Most people will hold it off till their warranty finishes but i didn't
Keep in mind if you superchip it, your dealer will most likely find out so if you have problem relate to engine and tranny they probably won't do anything about it.

Why don't you send him a email?
Yes he is authorise agent for bluefin as he got to upload your car to UK superchip and they reply with your tune then install into your ECU.
The guys been doing it for 20+ years

Why don't you ask SBC about my tune?, he's tried it before.
Though i don't think you should drive too fast with X5, thought they are quite easy to roll?

My 325i is 2006, way past its warranty period. I have BMS Powerbox installed, and it is quite alright consider the price. I am not a particularly fast driver but indeed so impressed with what you have got from the superchip.

keep in mind his car is a diesel (turbo) so any gains are far more achievable compared to an NA car.

Absolutely correct indeed, really so limited option with NA cars. Mind you, there aren't too many places in Sydney where you can drive fast unnoticed.

Ya, just checked the superchip website and surprised 325i only gain 12bhp compared to my diesel +44bhp/+103nm.

I guess thats not worth it for you Sydneyman.

Should've invited him into your bed.

I also vouch for the speed of Dave's 320d. It'd eat most cars in TLGP

You should ask Peter if he will offer discounts for E90 Forum Friends... as you have demonstrated, having us on side could be very benificial for his business - the cars transformation seems to make us into 'Superchips Super Salesman" if your passion is anything to go by.

I think a 20% discount is in order for forum members.

And yes, he can lock me in for getting it done if he demonstrates that commitment.

You made a good point there, but from my memory he kind of pretty much dislike bargain people. I felt lucky because i didn't bargain him lol.

I am only doing it because it's so much faster than stock and i am surprised, am i the only one did it?
Also do you know any other cheaper way to get +44hp/100nm?
