knob question I just ordered d+Kcan cable from ebay it came with a cd but its cracked do I need the cd? or can I just download the software from this thread? thanks

Exactly. Use the CD to only install the drivers for your cable. Use the software that is on this thread for the install. Trust me, I spent a day trying to get the software from a cd to work and ended up installing the one on this thread. Worked like a charm and it was hassle free.

Is it absolutely nessacary to use a 32bit win xp or win 7 laptop to code the injectors? Having a tough time tracking a laptop down that still runs win 7 and is also 32 bit that i can borrow. Everyones on at least windows 8 or 10 already.

If I replace an injector with the same or close injector parameters doe the Injector still need to be coded?

can i reset the transmition adaptations with the files included in the zips?
or i need to find a full version of inpa/ediabis? i already code my injectors and this guide worked like a dream!!! |

Not sure about the TCU adaptations. It should work as all of the E9X .ipo files are there. Give it a try.

is any one local am in portland oregon looking for coding one.

The zip file contains a PDF with common EDIABAS errors and what could be wrong. Search inside that PDF and hopefully you'll find a solution.

i got these solutions from PDF. but i have below questions. Solution 1: Copy the SGBD into the Ecu directory. (Where can i find SGBD) Solution 2: Copy the group file to C:\EDIABAS\ECU (Where can i copy group files) Can you please suggest. 1.8 EDIABAS error: Error (95) SYS-0005: OBJECT FILE NOT FOUND Reason 1: No SGBD in C:\EDIABAS\ECU Solution 1: Copy the SGBD into the Ecu directory. (Where can i find SGBD) Reason 2: No group file in C:\EDIABAS\ECU (for group call) Solution 2: Copy the group file to C:\EDIABAS\ECU (Where can i copy group files) Reason 3: No path definition C:\EDIABAS\BIN Solution 3: Set the system variable (see 2.1) Reason 4: Incorrect path definition in EDIABAS.INI Solution 4: Set the EcuPath path in Ediabas.ini to C:\EDIABAS\ECU Reason 5: The SGBD name contains reserved characters or is too long. Only 8 characters are allowed (a-z, A-Z, 0-9, "_"). |

Hmm,
From the errors it seems to me that you may have not followed the instructions in my PDF correctly. I'd say start from scratch and make sure you follow every step.
