I had a Sport steering wheel originally in my car and I replaced it with an M-Sport from a newish LCI car. But I have always had a niggling doubt that the airbag is not on correctly, can anyone check theirs to see if its the same?

Looks fine. As long as the gap is uniform all the way around and the horn works when pressed at 12, 3, 6 and 9oclock then it's latched in.

If in doubt, unlatch it carefully and push it back in square/straight and listen for the two clicks

Cheers for that, will try the horn test and see if its fine. It looks fairly uniform but I just have a feeling its not as flush as before. Wonder if its to do with center panel which I swapped to an M3 item.
