Guide Price to Possible Sell Car?
Hi just after some advice as have no idea on price as possibly thinking of selling the car! Had it for around 8 years now and gone from being bog standard to having just about everything changed on it!
Engine mods, VRSF Intercooler, vrsf chargepipe with single stage meth injection by devils own, twin BMS intakes, turbosmart kompact dual BOV, bimmerlife coils, 2 stage cooler ngk plugs, RB PCV uprated valve, hybrid turbos by bespoke turbos uk, mhd mapping with bespoke map from twisted tuning in America running between 550 and 700bhp depending on map. Exhaust is custom built by demand engineering longlife with both cats delete and running VRSF front cat delete, ML performance Single mass solid flywheel, running a 550i clutch. Uprated brakes to tarox with yellow stuff pads. All suspension bushes and arms uprated to M3 spec. Lowered on adjustable coilovers, braded brake hoses. Alloys not sure as brought these of friend and then had them refurbished, tyres brand new nankang 265/30/19 rear and 235/35/19 front. Added knew I'd miss something! Also had fitted by Birds Auto a Quaife LSD! Also has mishimoto oil catch can. Exterior as you can see bonnet is M3 GTR sytle with vents to help with cooling, front bumper is classed as M2 style, rear M4 style boot spolier and rear diffuser changed, M3 style door mirror carbon covers and smoked side repeaters. Paintwork is immaculate, having just had a full nano wax protection update! Mileage is on 105k and was full service history to 90k when I brought the car. Since then its service at least once a year and sometimes 2 times a year and wants for nothing! Its 6 speed manual with full black leather interior with idrive Interior is standard! Think thats about it, probably missed something! Only just finished but might be looking to sell! Last edited by paullacey007; 02-03-2021 at 12:20 PM.. |

I reckon £6-£7k as it is.
Modded cars don’t seem to sell particularly well, you’d most likely do better removing the mods & selling them separately.

Agree with Chappers, many people are I bit frightened off of modded cars, I guess they assume they have been ragged. I think to get the price you feel it deserves you would have to find and understanding enthusiast.

That's nuts! If that car were in the US right now it's a moneymaker! Especially if we're talking 105k kilometers. That's roughly 65k miles if that's the case. In my area that's a 16-17k US car I'd bet. So that's around £12k?

As all have said, it's harder to sell a modified car, and the least cost-effective way too. If you kept the original parts and had the time and inclination I'd stick them all back on and you'd still get the same price for the car, but you'd then be able to sell the upgraded parts separately to recoup extra £££ – and there will be plenty of E92 owners wiling to buy those bits off you. Just down to the hassle of it. Having a car that you love and that has had £££ spent on it yet it proves to be difficult to sell can be pretty disheartening...
