Any fully synthetic engine oil to BMW LL04 spec (7.5 litres) and a MANN filter. Manual gearbox or auto? If manual, it's 1.6 litres of 75W-80. I use this:

Good idea to change the diff fluid too at that mileage (1.2 litres of 75W-90)...

335d will be autobox, so 8litres IIRC and you'll need a new pan, as the filter is built into the pan. ZF do full kits.

Hey Mate,

I suggest for gearbox oil change get it done professionally. Not worth the effort doing it yourself. I got burned with it once on previous bmw. The garage charged me 40 quid less than the cost for me to do it myself. The auto box fluid is tricky and expensive ,the pan is easy to get a hold off but you wont be saving much.

Regards,
Alex

Search Euro Car Parts for the ZF kit from memory.

It's worth considering a ZF spec oil to flush the box before changing to ZF oil. I had Mannol ZF spec oil run through the box for a day to ensure the torque converter was flushed before having the ZF oil swapped in.

The Mannol oil was only about £35. Search my posts as I seem to remember putting up a thread.
