refitting cable holder above engine cover

E92 LCI 335D

spent over an hour trying to refit the cable holder with no sucess - just will not clip back - or probably I cannot figure out how to clip it back
see below
The metal tabs on the bodywork seem too big for the plastic brackets on the cable holder

any hints please

answering my own posting

had lunch - walked out to the car opened the bonnet, (hood), and it clipped in first time - the plastic fitting on the cover splits in two and pushes onto the metal tab - really simple

I was trying to be too delicate as I know BMW have a reputation for expensive plastic parts, (replacements if you break them)
