White Led speedo conversion and m3 needles by M4rius

Decided to get the speedo dial lights changed to white to replicate the m3 speedo. Took m4rius up on his service, and the final results are below. Makes a nice difference to the otherwise all orange interior, I'm happy with the results.

Great service from m4rius who completed the work. Took about 40 minutes to complete in total, and is a cheap mod to do. I also added the m3 rep needles to finish the look. (You don't need this and can modify the originals with vinyl: paint)

It looks great... What is involve to change this from orange to white? Do you spray/wrap the back of the gauges? or is that being to simplistic?

It's involves soldering , you need to remove orange smd's and solder in white.

Sounds straight forward. Next question is how hard is it to pull the dial assembly off? And where do you source the smd's from?

Is that just for the white smd change?

How much including the red m3 needles? Or would I have to source then myself?

Hi M4rius,

I already have a white led converted cluster, but I wanted to know if you could convert my white needles to red?

Could you PM me a price?
