N51 Transmission slippage?

So my n51 has a modest 100k miles and it seems to be a little jerky around 2500-3500 rpm particularly in 2nd and 3rd and sometimes a rocky transition from 4th to 5th in high rpm.
From the research ive done these trans are supposed to handle 400whp and typically last at least 200k miles. I asked the local shop and they said they agree it feels like its slipping. Its an auto, i use the tiptronic often but not exclusively. Could it be something else? Im only making about 250-260 at the crank on a good day.

Change the fluid and filter. Then go from there.

Hi all, so I currently own a -08 320D E91, with around 200,000 kilometers (124,000miles) and I'm having some troubling signs with the automatic Transmission.

So when switching from fourth to fifth there's noticeable lag between the switch, where the RPM's ramp up with no power, then it grips and yanks very heavily, as the RPM and actual speed match up. It only happens with fourth and fifth gear, all the others switch just fine.

I also get Transmission Faulty! messages with yellow gear icon from it time to time, but I assume it's because I'm flooring it and the RPM ramps up to the red line 5K+ RPM and it just defaults to the safe mode in order to not break the power transfer. (I hope at least)

Transmission fluid and filters were changed around 15-20k kilometers (9k to 12k miles) ago, so that should be fine I think? Shouldn't it bother the other gears too if it were low?

I'll get it checked out hopefully tomorrow, but I was wondering if there's something simple that could cause this? Meaning that the transmission isn't going FUBAR just yet!

Also sorry for posting here, would've made my own post, but I can't

So I got Fault Code: 004F85 and 004F8A, meaning mechatronic fails? Clutches going bad? Googling these gives mixed result for what's causing it, but it seems like it's going to cost a lot unfortunately.

Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue here?
