What "claim" would that be? How did the following statement turn into a "claim" where i'm some kind of liar or something?

"I'd be shocked if it doesn't do 0-60 in around 2.3 or so based on my "in-head counting" sprints to 60"

What's ridiculous is the comments that have come about from that total guesstimation... and the harassment and typical internet douchebaggery. smh

Whats ridiculous was your reaction to people correcting your estimation. You may have honestly believed it, but that doesnt mean its even close to true. Also prepare to be shocked bcause you are not getting under 3.5. No harassment, no douchebaggery at all here, just common sense.

Also you did say “It ls definitely under 3 seconds”. Thats a claim. Case closed.

This one you made like 3 posts back:

That sure sounds like a claim to me.

You can always tell when someone is losing an argument as they start to insult and call people names vs having an intellectual discussion based around 'cold hard facts, simple math, and physics' as you so eloquently put it

What is this talk of a forum admin/moderator now? Did you contact an admin because you can't handle people calling you out on your own claims? Seriously what is this admin/moderator none sense you speak of? Please elaborate!

edit: No one is going to send you a dragy to verify your BS claims. The onus is on the person making the claims to back them up. It's small money, put up or shut up.

A dragy. A universally agreed upon accurate performance data recording device. Is $140 with free shipping.

Just buy the thing and either prove your claims or dont be surprised when nobody takes you seriously.

Careful though, Dragys have been used on cars with blown motors. So, you might lose another motor if you get one. Thats just facts and science.

I'd be shocked if your 0-60 time is anything over 1 second. Simple math & physics really.

I'm enjoying this thread. I am concerned, though, that the OP hasn't accounted for power gained on his car from sticker mods.

OP, just kidding. It seems like you love your car. I'm glad that's the case.

Op's car is fast as hell! New McLaren 720s does 2.39 0-60 and runs 9.7 @ 144 in the 1/4, and does a 5.27 60-130.

Awesome that an N54 is matching that!

I wonder if McLaren counted in their head when they reported those numbers...

I think 0-60km/h in 2.3s is doable in OP's car so back off.

Yeah only because 60 km/h is equal to 37 miles per hour

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...y_acceleration <--just to put a sub 3 second 0-60mph into context.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_720S

According to McLaren the 720S can accelerate from 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds

Powertrain:
Engine 4.0 L twin-turbocharged V8
Power output 530 kW (720 PS; 710 hp)
Transmission 7-speed dual-clutch
Weight: 3,167

Just to put your 2.3 0-60mph claim into perspective, only 3 production cars have ever hit that:

Ariel Atom 500 (V8)[11] 2008 2.3 sec n/a 2.3 sec[12][13] Limited to 25 produced

Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018 2.3 sec n/a[xiii] 2.3 sec[xiv] Limited to 3300 produced, front-engine, with 1(+4) seats

Lamborghini Huracán Performante[ix] 2018 2.3 sec 2.3 sec[18] 2.9 sec[19] Naturally aspirated

OP has a reputation in DFW. His awd is the fastest car on the planet, and awd is better than absolutely any RWD car in any situation.

This thread is a complete troll job by OP, or whoever now controls OP's acct. None of this story makes sense. There is no way an alignment leads to a blown engine. There is no way anyone who "has been doing 1/4 mile since the 90s" would think he could get to 60mph in the time he states with a manual tranny car. Now his 0-60 estimates are down to 1 second.

The whole Dragy thing is obviously a troll job. No way anyone could be this obtuse without being a troll after being told twice about a product and not doing his own research on prices.

OP then flames people who aren't insane or trolls and should therefore be banned. Mods, make it happen. We're counting on you.

LMAO I just popped on e90post after like 2 years being off and came across this post. OP is smoking some real good s***. I bet my 08 e92 335xi would walk him. The best 0-60mph time I could manage was a 3.96. Even with AWD the car goes sideways. By the way OP if you actually raced you would know that 0-60mph times is more about traction then power. I had a 800whp 911 turbo the thing ran 9.90's consistently but the 0-60 sucked. Power becomes more difficult to put down the more you have, there is a point of diminishing returns. True high horsepower cars run 60-130, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and 1 mile events. Go check out 6speedonline they have a huge list of cars doing the 60-130mph runs. Get yourself a v-box and see what your car can do. I love this platform but your not running 2 second 0-60 times.

Here's my car running 60-145mph:

Post some videos of your car actually running.
